Dr. Ed Henderson, II is an educator and administrator with 21 years of experience in education. A true servant leader, he has dedicated his career to developing well-rounded students who are prepared academically and socially to thrive in society, and coaching aspiring leaders to level up and boldly lead in today’s schools. Dr. Henderson began his principal career in Irving ISD. He currently serves as a principal in Crowley ISD. Under his leadership campuses have experienced remarkable growth, held “B” ratings, and been awarded multiple distinction designations for student achievement. One of Dr. Henderson’s most significant career highlights is having one of his campuses selected as a Dr. Jay Cummins Demonstration School by the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators, placing the campus in a small select group of high performing majority minority schools in the state of Texas.

Dr. Henderson also serves on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization that provides after school programs for underprivileged students, providing them with opportunities to learn about financial development, leadership, teamwork, and project management.

Dr. Henderson holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Dallas Baptist University. He earned his master’s in educational administration from Prairie View A&M University and is also a graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He holds a superintendent certification and is a member of the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE) and the Texas Elementary Principal and Supervisors Association (TEPSA).
